Ca'wi Community Development Association Urges Young people to Return Hometown and Aims to Build Social Enterprise
Remote towns in Taiwan face population aging and youth emigration. Without enterprises devoting funds to a rural area, how are young labors willing to stay in their hometown? He Jun-Xiong is one of the young men like a stray bird returning to his hometown. He leads people at the Ca’wi Community Development Association to build sightseeing attractions in the tribe. He succeeds in helping people in his tribe make money and further bring Ca’wi into sharp focus in Hualien.

The Hsinchu County Persimmon Dye Cultural Association endeavors to promote local culture, pass down local crafts and develop local talents. It explores new resources from existing elements, developing and promoting the persimmon dye industry through research, training, and creative products.

Ignite a Light— Yuanai Workshop: The Warmth of Home and Culture
Yuanai Workshop develops local cultural products with indigenous elements, such as clothes, wood, and food. It also provides employment opportunities, which assists and empowers indigenous parents to start up micro-businesses. When they have a stable economic situation, they can build a stable home for their children. The Workshop further encourages local indigenous people to return to their traditional culture.

Rebirth of Wheat Fields in Taiwan
Rejoice integrated up- and downstream processes and introduced new brands such as “Rejoice Wheat”, “Rejoice Soybean Task Force”, and “Rejoice Grain Club” together with its previously marketed wheat. Featured products such as noodles, soy sauce, and sesame paste are sold via various channels.

The Baimi Clog Village, Clogs are the way forward for this community
The Baimi Community Development Association is engaged in community building through the development of its traditional clog industry. Thanks to the guidance of the Baimi Clog Museum and the promotion of clog culture and products, a Baimi Business District has gradually come into being.
