As Xiao himself is with visual impairment, he has been through many ups and downs in life which are different from those of normal people. Fortunately, with his exceptional sense in hearing and pitches, he has succeeded in music industry today.

Ignite a Light— Yuanai Workshop: The Warmth of Home and Culture
Yuanai Workshop develops local cultural products with indigenous elements, such as clothes, wood, and food. It also provides employment opportunities, which assists and empowers indigenous parents to start up micro-businesses. When they have a stable economic situation, they can build a stable home for their children. The Workshop further encourages local indigenous people to return to their traditional culture.

With the tourism service provided by Jinhu Leisure Farming Zone, Jinhu Leisure Farming Association integrates local agricultural produce, fisheries, landscape, ecology, and cultural resources to develop leisure tourism, eco education, and industry experience.

The Baimi Clog Village, Clogs are the way forward for this community
The Baimi Community Development Association is engaged in community building through the development of its traditional clog industry. Thanks to the guidance of the Baimi Clog Museum and the promotion of clog culture and products, a Baimi Business District has gradually come into being.

Co-Marketing Taiwanese Tribes to Promote Indigenous Cultures
Though the 921 earthquake in 1999 destroyed homeland of many indigenous tribes, optimistic aboriginal survivals didn’t get disappointed. On Sep 28th 2002, Indigenous tribes along with local tribal workers together founded “Association of Taiwanese Indigenous People’s Development” (hereinafter referred to as “the association”) for the promotion of indigenous tribal development and autonomy.
