A Base for Indigenous Organic Farming
Pangcah Organic Farm is the first certified organic farm in Guangfu Township. The Indigenous Persons Sustainable Agriculture Society develops and promotes organic farming by providing employment to disadvantaged women and indigenous people. The Society also generates profit by selling organic vegetables and promotes the wild vegetable culture of the Amis people.

In early 1971, when Ms. Joyce Meredith McMillian first came to Taiwan with a medical team from Unite States, she was astonished to find that in the Changhua region, many children with polio crawling on the ground due to deficient treatment and rehabilitation resources.

Transformation for Greater Value; Longan Becomes into the Local Star
Situated in Zhongliao Nantou, the Long-Yan-Lin Community was one of the areas that were hit the hardest in the 921 earthquake. During the earliest relief activities, almost all the relief efforts were allocated to the southern Zhongliao, but people living in the Long-Yan-Lin Community in northern Zhongliao realized that they had to have an organization representing their community to find supports from the outside world.

Ignite a Light— Yuanai Workshop: The Warmth of Home and Culture
Yuanai Workshop develops local cultural products with indigenous elements, such as clothes, wood, and food. It also provides employment opportunities, which assists and empowers indigenous parents to start up micro-businesses. When they have a stable economic situation, they can build a stable home for their children. The Workshop further encourages local indigenous people to return to their traditional culture.

The Baimi Clog Village, Clogs are the way forward for this community
The Baimi Community Development Association is engaged in community building through the development of its traditional clog industry. Thanks to the guidance of the Baimi Clog Museum and the promotion of clog culture and products, a Baimi Business District has gradually come into being.
