Twelve Liao Time Village, A Community Linkage Experiment "Timelinker Time Bank"
There is a group of young people in Twelve Liao, Emei Township, Hsinchu County, who aim to build up the regional revitalization system through the core concepts of talent training, rebuilding regional lifestyles, a circular economy, and the brand of Time Village. They use entrepreneurship to solve problems and are trying to change the economic activities of the community through the "Time Bank" model to realize a dream life without money and redefine human values.



Hualien Mustard Seed Mission Creates a Promising Land for Middle- Aged and Elderly Employment
The Mustard Seed Mission is the first social welfare organization registered in Taiwan. It established the Vocational Training Center and Free Vocational School in Hualien to train working skills for the indigenous. Responding to the aging society, it has focused on empowering the senior women and elderly indigenous since 2012. In 2020, it launched "50+ Elderly Empowerment Program" to encourage the middle-aged and elderly to take advantage of their accumulated wisdom and abilities to change the perspective on retirement and return to the labor market and social service field.



Sunshine Siaolin Village from Culture Revitalization to Economic Rebirth
In 2009, an unforeseen mudslide took more than 400 lives in the Siaolin Tribe. During the process of rebuilding their homes after the disaster, the villagers who relocated to the prefabs accidentally discovered their identity as the Taivoan Tribe. The disaster embarked them on a self-searching journey that not only healed the pain of losing loved ones and regained their self-confidence through cultural revitalization but also developed an industrial ecosystem that connected the neighboring tribes.



Build A Zero Hunger Network to Create Job Opportunity
Changhua County Erlin Food Bank (Erlin Food Bank), located in Erlin Township, Changhua County, was established less than four years ago and has built the highest density of "Food Refrigerator" points in Taiwan to help the marginalized families around the neighborhoods. For a sustainable operation, Erlin Food Bank established a "Spread Love Shop" workshop to produce and sell steamed buns and dumplings. It creates job opportunities for middle-aged women and moves forward as a self-sufficient social enterprise.



Transform of Bamboo Logging Industry to Revive Atayal Indigenous Village
In response to the Logging Ban of Reserved Land for Indigenous People policy on the Makino Bamboo industry, a group of young Atayal organized Taoyuan City Fuxing Bamboo Industry Development Association (Taiwan Makino Bamboo) to advocate the importance of regular logging the bamboo forests. They have also developed experiential activities and bamboo crafts, launched an Atayal bamboo accessory brand "Qengay na Bamboo", and develop new business opportunities for the OEM production of bamboo walking sticks to find a way for the sustainable development of Makino Bamboo in their home village.



Reproduce the "Natural Blue Dyeing" Process to Reappear Nuannuan Blue Dyeing Glory
To preserve the traditional culture of the Blue Dyeing industry in Nuannuan Mountain Area of Keelung City. Keelung Traditional Arts and Culture Agricultural Association, led by seniors and young people, uses the historical 200 years Jing-Che Pools to develop experiential activities and various cultural goods of blue dyeing. The seniors and young together pass on the blue dyeing techniques and create employment opportunities for young people.
